Established in 1983, the Feldman Family Foundation initially began by donating to Congregation Beth El in La Jolla, CA. Over the years, its contributions have grown and diversified, reaching beyond the local area. From 1983 to 1996, the foundation supported various organizations such as the Jewish Agency, UJA Federation, Tel Aviv Foundation, and more.

In 1997, the foundation expanded its philanthropic efforts by making the first of many contributions to the University of California San Diego, where it continues to support students, staff, and healthcare workers from diverse backgrounds.

During the early 2000s, the Feldman Family Foundation made significant contributions to expanding open spaces in San Diego, including the Otay Open Space Easement andthe San Dieguito River Park Open Space, showcasing its dedication to enhancing the beauty and communities of San Diego.

In 2005, through support from JCF Connect, the Feldman Family Foundation facilitated the addition of the second Fire-Rescue 212-HP Helicopter to the San Diego Fire Department, furthering its commitment to the safety and well-being of the local community.
